Serbian spruce is common ornamental tree in Northern Europe. The native habitat is small area in Balkan mountains.
It grows up to 20m tall. It has very narrow, spear-like shape and thus is suitable even for smaller gardens. Needles are two-colored - dark blueish green above and light-blueish and white below. Grows on wide range of soils as long as the ground does not dry up completely. In Estonia winter-hardy.
Serbian spruce is the most decorative in small group, mixed with large bushes. Two-colored foliage is beaufiful throughout the year.
