Yellow catalpa (Catalpa ovata)

Yellow catalpa is small tree (height 8-10m) from Central and Northern China. It is popular ornamental tree because of it's creamy white flowers in July to August.

Intense green leaves have three lobes.

Catalpa is suitable as solo tree os in the group of other trees of similar size. Needs fertile soil, full sun or half shade and protection from northern winds.
