Fullmoon maple (Acer japonicum)

Small tree (in native area 5-10m) or tall bush from Eastern Asia (Japan, Korea). Leaves are round, intense green, up to 15cm in diameter with 9-13 lobes.

Bark is very decorative - grayish green on younger branches, rough and scaly on older branches and trunk.

Fullmoon maple grows in Estonia quite well, prefers fresh soils and shelter from northern winds.
