Almond willow (Salix triandra)

Small tree up to 10m with multiple trunks or tall bush. The outer layer of the bark of trunks and larger branches comes off in large scales, revealing deep orangeish-brown pathes. This feature makes almond willow one of the most decorative mid-sized willows both solo and in groups.

Grows well in moist to moderate fertile soils.
