Field scabious, (Knautia arvensis)

Field scabious on typical flower of midsummer meadows. Light violet flowers, in groups of 2-10) grow on up to 1m tall grayish stems.

It grows well in flower-bed and may blooms until autumn. Tolerant of most soil types as long as it is not too wet.
